This webinar will discuss the Kansas Crime Victims Compensation program. Crime Victim Compensation programs across the country offer crucial financial assistance to victims of violence. This webinar provides information on how the programs operate and what victims can do to seek help.

About the Presenter

Prior to being appointed to this position, Jeff Wagaman served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Attorney General Schmidt. During his 30 year government career he has worked as the Assistant State Treasurer of Kansas, Executive Director of the Kansas Corporation Commission, Deputy Secretary of the Kansas Department of Administration, Chief of Staff to Governor Bill Graves, Chief of Staff to the Kansas Senate President and the Kansas Senate Majority Leader, and he held several other positions in the Kansas Departments of Corrections and Social and Rehabilitation Services. Wagaman is also a Reserve Deputy in the Shawnee County Sheriff's office where he is assigned to the Uniformed Operations Division. Wagaman has a B.A. from Washburn University and a MPA from the University of Kansas.
