Working with Immigrant Victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence

AUDIENCE: For KCSDV member program advocates

This in-person training will provide program advocates with skills and information to assist them in working with immigrant victims of sexual and domestic violence. Topics to be covered include: current barriers for immigrant survivors, outreach to immigrant survivors, privilege and oppression, cultural humility, language access, and a brief overview of civil legal remedies available to immigrant victims.
