AUDIENCE: KCSDV Member Program Shelter Staff

Presented by:

This training will focus on solutions to better identify, understand, and respond to the challenges associated with communal living. Participants will learn the elements of trauma-informed shelter settings, explore the differences between rules and rights and responsibilities, and apply a survivor-defined framework to shelter advocacy. Strategies and skills to maintain safe, professionally-bounded relationships with shelter residents will also be provided. We invite all member program shelter staff to join us.
