Cases involving domestic violence are often the most difficult cases. Using several adult learning techniques, this workshop will offer participants an opportunity to learn how the civil justice system can better address the unique needs of litigants who have experienced domestic violence. The workshop will help participants to evaluate the impact of domestic violence on adult and child victims, identify challenges, and explore a range of possible options to enhance safety and promote resiliency for survivors and their children through civil processes.
