Sexual Assault Advocacy Course SPRING April 2017


AUDIENCE: KCSDV member program advocates and staff only.

This course is intended to be an introductory course for sexual violence advocates who are new to the field. Advocates who have not attended a Sexual Assault Advocacy Course within the past 5 years are encouraged to attend.

THIS TRAINING CONSISTS OF 2 PARTS. PART 1 MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING PART 2.

  • PART 1: 10 Online Modules and post-tests
    The first part must be completed before the in-person portion of the training and consists of 10 online modules which include a webinar and a post-test.
  • PART 2 : In-person, 3 day training, 8 hours each day.
    The second part is 3 days of in-person training. Lunch on your own. Coffee and water will be provided. We will not be able to offer food during the training so please bring any food items you will need to be comfortable.
