AUDIENCE: KCSDV member program advocates and staff only.

  • This course is intended to be an advanced advocacy course for domestic violence and sexual violence advocates who have attended a Domestic Violence Advocacy Course and Sexual Violence Advocacy Course within the past 5 years.

This course will increase advocates understanding and skills when working with victims experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues. Advocates will also learn how to transfer these new skills into practical ways to address these issues in their work environment.
