Position Title: Senior Case Advocate

Position Type/Status: Full Time with Benefits
POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Case Advocate is responsible for client service delivery at the Junction City worksite. The SCA maintains an individual case load, and manages the provision of services by other advocates at that facility. The Senior Case Advocate is expected to serve regularly as On Call Advocate.
Direct Client Services
- Provide crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy services to victims
- Develop and maintain points of contact and referral sources in Geary County
- Work with other systems to enhance victim safety and perpetrator accountability
- Train and supervise other advocates on site
REQUIREMENTS: Baccalaureate degree, two years’ case management experience (including one year of supervisory experience), the ability to relate in a non-judgmental manner to diverse individuals, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Relevant experience may be substituted for some postsecondary education requirements.
In addition to the particular minimum qualifications listed above, each staff member of The Crisis Center must have reliable transportation at all times, a valid driver’s license, and be capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds.
