State Level Collaboration

KCSDV collaborates and partners with many organizations both governmental and non-governmental. Some examples include:

• Collaboration with the corrections agencies regarding the appropriate responses for victims, training for parole and corrections officers, and screening and intervention with domestic violence perpetrators;
• Collaboration with the state health department in order to coordinate and improve the sexual assault response, responses for people with disabilities, and primary prevention of sexual and domestic violence.
• Serve and provide leadership on statewide councils, committees, and work groups regarding batterers intervention programming, criminal justice protocols and training curricula, and judicial response.
